Serie A (Week 24) : Inter defeats Empoli 2-0
ITALY, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 24: After losing 1-0 to Juventus on February 5, the Beneamata bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Empoli this Sunday.
Inter Milan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Eder Martins in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Beneamata further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Candreva in the 54th minute.
Inter Milan climbed to fourth place with 45 points from 24 games, 6 points behind Napoli.
