ITALY, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Lazio. After their 1-2 win against Empoli on February 18, the Biancocelesti continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 1-0 victory over Udinese this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Lazio forward Ciro Immobile on penalty in the 72nd minute.
Lazio climbed to fifth place with 50 points from 26 games, only one point behind Atalanta BC.
