Serie A (Week 26) : Palermo and Samp play out 1-1 draw
ITALY, Feb. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 26: The match between Palermo and Sampdoria ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Palermo players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Nestorovski Ilija on penalty in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sampdoria with a saving goal from Sampdoria forward Fabio Quagliarella in the 90th minute.
UC Sampdoria remains in 10th place with 35 points from 26 games, tie on points with Torino FC, which has a game in hand.
