Serie A (Week 27) : Samp beats Pescara 3-1
ITALY, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: After their 1-1 draw against Cagliari on February 26 and 1-1 draw against Palermo on February 26, the Blucerchiati returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Pescara this Saturday.
Sampdoria midfielder Fernandes Bruno opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Pescara catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Alberto Cerri. 1-1 at half time. The Blucerchiati eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Quagliarella ('58) and Schick Patrik ('68).
UC Sampdoria climbed to 9th place with 38 points from 27 games, 3 points behind ACF Fiorentina, which has a game in hand.
