ITALY, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: After four straigth victories against Fiorentina, Crotone, Torino and Inter Milan, the Giallorossi lost 2-1 against Napoli.
Dries Mertens scored dual goals
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belgian forward Dries Mertens in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Mertens in the 50th minute.
AS Roma remains in second place with 59 points from 27 games, 7 points behind Juventus, which has a game in hand.
