ITALY, Mar. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 27: After losing 1-3 to AS Roma on February 26, the Beneamata bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Cagliari this Sunday.
Ivan Perisic scored dual goals
Inter Milan dominated the first half thanks to goals from Perisic ('34) and Banega ('39). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Beneamata further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Perisic '47, Icardi '67/penalty and Gagliardini '88).
Inter Milan climbed to fifth place with 51 points from 27 games, only one point behind Atalanta BC.
