ITALY, Mar. 11, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Sampdoria. After their 3-1 win against Pescara on March 4, the Blucerchiati continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 1-0 victory over Genoa this Saturday.
45 minutes of play and neither Sampdoria nor Genoa have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Colombian forward Muriel Luis in the 71st minute.
UC Sampdoria climbed to 9th place with 41 points from 28 games, only one point behind ACF Fiorentina, which has a game in hand.
