ITALY, Mar. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 28: After losing 3-1 to AC Milan on March 4, the Gialloblu bounced back with a 4-0 victory over Empoli this Sunday.
Chievo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Inglese Roberto ('22) and Pellissier ('40). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Birsa '75 and Cesar '89).
AC Chievo Verona remains in 11st place with 38 points from 28 games, one point behind Torino FC, which has a game in hand.
