ITALY, Mar. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 29: Three wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against AS Roma and Crotone, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-2 victory over Empoli this Sunday.
Lorenzo Insigne scored dual goals
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Insigne ('19, '38 on penalty) and Mertens ('24). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Napoli climbed to second place with 63 points from 29 games, 7 points behind Juventus, which has a game in hand.
