Serie A (Week 29) : Roma beats Sassuolo 3-1
ITALY, Mar. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 29: Two wins in a row for AS Roma. After their 0-3 win against Palermo on March 12, the Giallorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Sassuolo this Sunday.
Sassuolo opened the score in the score in the 9th minute thanks to Grégoire Defrel, before AS Roma regained the advantage with Paredes Leandro ('16) and Salah ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Džeko in the 68th minute.
AS Roma remains in second place with 65 points from 29 games, 8 points behind Juventus.
