Serie A (Week 20) : Sassuolo beats Palermo 4-1
ITALY, Jan. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: After their 0-0 draw against Torino on January 8, the Neroverdi returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Palermo this Sunday.
Alessandro Matri scored dual goals
Palermo opened the score in the score in the 9th minute thanks to Robin Quaison, before Sassuolo regained the advantage with Matri ('15) and Ragusa ('24). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Neroverdi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Matri '66 and Politano Matteo '83).
US Sassuolo Calcio remains in 16th place with 21 points from 20 games, 2 points behind Bologna FC 1909, which has a game in hand.
