Serie A (Week 20) : Inter beats Chievo 3-1
ITALY, Jan. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: Five wins in a row for Inter Milan. After their success against Genoa, Sassuolo, Lazio and Udinese, the Beneamata continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Chievo this Saturday.
Chievo had started off well by taking the lead in the 34th minute with a goal by forward Sergio Pellissier. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Beneamata nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Icardi '69, Perisic '86 and Eder Martins '90).
Inter Milan climbed to fifth place with 36 points from 20 games, only one point behind Lazio, which has a game in hand.
