ITALY, Jan. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Atalanta. After their 2-1 win against Empoli on December 20, La Dea continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 4-1 victory over Chievo this Sunday.
Gomez Alejandro scored dual goals
Atalanta dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gomez Alejandro ('4, '22) and Conti Andrea ('42). Leading 3-0 at the break, La Dea further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Freuler Remo in the 69th minute.
Atalanta BC climbed to fifth place with 35 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Lazio.
