Serie A (Week 19) : Napoli beats Samp 2-1
ITALY, Jan. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 19: After their 3-3 draw against Fiorentina on December 22, the Partenopei bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Sampdoria this Saturday.
Sampdoria had started off well by taking the lead in the 30th minute with an own goal by Albanian defender Elseid Hysaj. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Partenopei nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Gabbiadini '77 and Tonelli '90).
Napoli remains in third place with 38 points from 19 games, tie on points with AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
