ITALY, Jan. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Napoli. After their 2-1 win against Sampdoria on January 7, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Pescara this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Tonelli ('47), Hamsik ('49) and Mertens ('85).
Napoli remains in third place with 41 points from 20 games, 3 points behind AS Roma.
