Serie A (Week 18) : Palermo and Pescara play out 1-1 draw
ITALY, Dec. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 18: The match between Palermo and Pescara ended in a 1-1 draw on Thursday.
Palermo players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Swedish midfielder Robin Quaison in the 33rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Pescara with a saving goal from Pescara defender Cristiano Biraghi on penalty in the 90th minute.
Palermo climbed to 18th place with 10 points from 18 games, 4 points behind Empoli FC.
