Serie A (Week 18) : Fiorentina and Napoli play to a 3-3 draw
ITALY, Dec. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 18: Napoli was held to a 3-3 draw by Fiorentina on Thursday.
Napoli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne in the 25th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Mertens ('68) and Gabbiadini ('90 on penalty) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Fiorentina with goals by Bernardeschi Federico ('52, '69) and Mauro Zárate ('82).
Napoli remains in third place with 35 points from 18 games, 3 points behind AS Roma.
