ITALY, Apr. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 31: The match between Sampdoria and Fiorentina ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Sampdoria players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese midfielder Fernandes Bruno in the 5th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Álvarez goal ('71) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Fiorentina with goals by Gonzalo ('60) and Khouma Babacar ('89).
ACF Fiorentina remains in 8th place with 52 points from 31 games, 2 points behind AC Milan, which has a game in hand.
