Serie A (Week 31) : Torino defeats Cagliari 3-2
ITALY, Apr. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 31: After their 2-2 draw against Inter Milan on April 2 and 2-2 draw against Udinese on April 2, Il Toro returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Cagliari this Sunday.
Cagliari opened the score in the score in the 19th minute thanks to Marco Borriello on penalty, before Torino regained the advantage with Ljajić ('33) and Belotti ('39). Leading 2-1 at the break, Il Toro further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Acquah in the 53rd minute.
Torino FC remains in 10th place with 44 points from 31 games, one point behind UC Sampdoria.
