Serie A (Week 30) : Cagliari defeats Palermo 3-1
ITALY, Apr. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 30: After their 0-0 draw against Lazio on March 19, the Rossoblu bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Palermo this Sunday.
Artur Ioniţă scored dual goals
Palermo had started off well by taking the lead in the 26th minute with a goal by Costa Rican defender Giancarlo González. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Rossoblu nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Ioniţă '48, '88 and Borriello '58).
Cagliari climbed to 13rd place with 35 points from 30 games, 2 points behind Udinese.
