ITALY, Apr. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 32: After their 1-1 draw against Pescara on April 8, the Azzurri returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina this Saturday.
Empoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by El Kaddouri Omar in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Azzurri further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pasqual on penalty in stoppage time.
ACF Fiorentina remains in 8th place with 52 points from 32 games, 4 points behind Inter Milan.
