Serie A (Week 34) : Chievo defeats Genoa 2-1
ITALY, Apr. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 34: After five straigth defeats, the Gialloblu bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Genoa this Sunday.
Genoa had started off well by taking the lead in the 43rd minute with a goal by Pandev Goran. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gialloblu nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bastien Samuel '60 and Birsa '70).
AC Chievo Verona remains in 12nd place with 41 points from 34 games, 2 points behind Udinese.
