Serie A (Week 14) : Chievo defeats SPAL 2-1
ITALY, Nov. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 14: After their 0-0 draw against Napoli on November 19 and 1-1 draw against Torino on November 19, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over SPAL this Saturday.
Inglese Roberto scored dual goals
SPAL had started off well by taking the lead in the 17th minute with an own goal by Slovenian defender Boštjan Cesar. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gialloblu nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Inglese Roberto '66, '81).
AC Chievo Verona climbed to 8th place with 20 points from 14 games, tie on points with Bologna FC 1909.
