Serie A (Week 15) : Fiorentina defeats Sassuolo 3-0
ITALY, Dec. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 15: After their 1-1 draw against SPAL on November 26 and 1-1 draw against Lazio on November 26, the Viola returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Sassuolo this Sunday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Simeone Giovanni ('32) and Veretout ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Chiesa Federico in the 71st minute.
ACF Fiorentina climbed to 7th place with 21 points from 15 games, 5 points behind UC Sampdoria, which has two games in hand.
