Serie B (Week 3) : Varese and Lanciano play out 1-1 draw
ITALY, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 3: Virtus Lanciano was held to a 1-1 draw by Varese on Saturday.
Virtus Lanciano players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Vastola in the 4th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Varese with a saving goal from Pereira in the 61st minute.
Virtus Lanciano are down in third place with 5 points from 3 games, 2 points behind Trapani Calcio.
