Serie B (Week 14) : Carpi beats Cittadella 5-2
ITALY, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 14: After their 0-0 draw against Bologna on November 8, the Biancorossi bounced back with a 5-2 victory over Cittadella this Saturday.
Inglese scored dual goals
Carpi dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gagliolo ('25), Romagnoli ('28) and Inglese ('38, '43). Leading 4-1 at the break, the Biancorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lasagna in stoppage time.
Carpi FC 1909 climbed to first place with 28 points from 14 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio, which has a game in hand.
