Serie B (Week 17) : Varese and Entella play out 2-2 draw
ITALY, Dec. 6, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 17: The match between Varese and Virtus Entella ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Virtus Entella players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Iacoponi ('12) and Russo ('18) while Varese only scored once Falcone ('45 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Varese with a saving goal from Pereira in the 78th minute.
AS Varese remains in 17th place with 19 points from 17 games, tie on points with Brescia Calcio, which has a game in hand.
