ITALY, Oct. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Perugia. After their success against SPAL and Frosinone, the Grifoni continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 3-0 victory over Avellino this Sunday.
Di Carmine Samuel scored dual goals
Perugia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Monaco Salvatore ('24) and Di Carmine Samuel ('32). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Grifoni further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Di Carmine Samuel with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AC Perugia climbed to 7th place with 12 points from 8 games, tie on points with Virtus Entella.
