Serie B (Week 18) : Avellino and Benevento play to a 1-1 draw
ITALY, Dec. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 18: Benevento was held to a 1-1 draw by Avellino on Saturday.
Avellino players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Verde Daniele in the 7th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Benevento with a saving goal from Cisse Karamoko in the 82nd minute.
Benevento Calcio remains in second place with 33 points from 18 games, one point behind Hellas Verona.
