Serie B (Week 17) : Benevento beats Cesena 2-1
ITALY, Dec. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 17: After their 0-0 draw against Vicenza on November 26, the Stregoni returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Cesena this Monday.
Djuric Milan opened the score in the 16th minute, before seeing Benevento catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Chibsah Raman. 1-1 at half time. The Stregoni eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Ciciretti Amato with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Benevento Calcio climbed to second place with 32 points from 17 games, 2 points behind Hellas Verona.
