Serie B (Week 37) : Cittadella beats Carpi 4-1
ITALY, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 37: After losing 2-0 to Hellas Verona on April 17, Citta bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Carpi this Saturday.
Carpi opened the score in the score in the 3rd minute thanks to Mbakogu Jerry, before Cittadella regained the advantage with Arrighini Andrea ('21) and Iori Manuel ('37 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, Citta further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Valzania Luca '66 and Paolucci Andrea '90/penalty).
AS Cittadella climbed to fourth place with 57 points from 37 games, 5 points behind Frosinone Calcio.
