ITALY, Apr. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: After their 2-2 draw against Novara on April 10, the Gialloblu bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Cittadella this Monday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Bessa Daniel in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pazzini Giampaolo with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Hellas Verona climbed to second place with 62 points from 36 games, 5 points behind SPAL Ferrara.
