Serie B (Week 36) : SPAL defeats Trapani 2-1
ITALY, Apr. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: Three wins in a row for SPAL. After their success against Novara and Brescia, the Spallini continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Trapani this Monday.
Antenucci Mirco scored dual goals
Trapani had started off well by taking the lead in the 4th minute with a goal by Barilla Antonino. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Spallini nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Antenucci Mirco '55, '77).
SPAL Ferrara remains in first place with 67 points from 36 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Frosinone Calcio, which has a game in hand.
