Serie B (Week 36) : Salernitana beats Latina 2-1
ITALY, Apr. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: After losing 1-0 to Ternana on April 8, I Granata bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Latina this Monday.
Latina had started off well by taking the lead in the 40th minute with a goal by De Giorgio Pietro. Trailing 1-0 at half time, I Granata nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Rosina Alessandro '56 and Sprocati Mattia '78).
US Salernitana 1919 remains in 12nd place with 49 points from 36 games, one point behind FC Bari 1908.
