Serie B (Week 40) : Avellino and Bari play out 1-1 draw
ITALY, May. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 40: The match between Avellino and Bari ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Bari players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Salzano Aniello on penalty in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Avellino with a saving goal from Verde Daniele on penalty in the 65th minute.
FC Bari 1908 are down in 10th place with 53 points from 40 games, tie on points with Novara Calcio.
