Serie B (Week 40) : Verona defeats Entella 2-1
ITALY, May. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Hellas Verona. After their 3-2 win against Vicenza on May 1, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Virtus Entella this Saturday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bessa Daniel ('4) and Pisano Eros ('10). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Hellas Verona remains in second place with 72 points from 40 games, 2 points behind SPAL Ferrara, which has a game in hand.
