Serie B (Week 7) : Avellino defeats Empoli 3-2
ITALY, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 7: The Azzurri crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 3-2 against Avellino.
Empoli had started off well by taking the lead in the 11th minute with a goal by Donnarumma Alfredo. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Lupi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Kresic Anton '53, Castaldo Luigi '62 on penalty and D Angelo Angelo '69).
AS Avellino 1912 climbed to fourth place with 13 points from 7 games, tie on points with Palermo.
