Serie B (Week 7) : Pro Vercelli beats Cesena 5-2
ITALY, Sep. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 7: After losing 2-1 to Palermo on September 25, the Bianche Casacche returned to winning ways with a 5-2 victory over Cesena this Saturday.
Cesena had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Dalmonte Nicola ('7) and Jallow Lamin ('22), while Pro Vercelli only scored once Bergamelli Dario ('16). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Bianche Casacche nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Rovini Emanuele '59, Raicevic Filip '63, Firenze Marco '69 and Vives Guiseppe '75 on penalty).
FC Pro Vercelli 1892 climbed to 20th place with 5 points from 7 games, only one point behind Foggia Calcio, which has a game in hand.
