MONTEVIDEO, Jul. 21, 1930 (AMP) — Uruguay 1930 : Uruguay defeated Romania by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Monday afternoon at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Pablo Dorado ('7), Héctor Scarone ('26), Peregrino Anselmo ('31) and Pedro Cea ('35).
