PORT-OF-SPAIN, Feb. 7, 1965 (AMP) — England 66 (American Qualifiers) : Trinidad and Tobago defeated Suriname by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a qualifying game for the 1966 FIFA World Cup on Sunday.

The result put the Trinidadians top of Group 2 with 2 points. In their next game, Trinidad and Tobago will meet second-placed Costa Rica on February 21, while Suriname will face Costa Rica.
