DüSSELDORF, Jun. 23, 1974 (AMP) — Germany 74 : Sweden defeated Uruguay by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Sunday afternoon at the Rheinstadion in Düsseldorf.
Ralf Edström scored dual goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Edström ('46, '77) and Sandberg ('74).
