WASHINGTON, D.C., Jun. 29, 1994 (AMP) — USA 94 : Saudi Arabia defeated Belgium by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, D.C..

All the action happened in the first half, with Saudi striker Saeed Al-Owairan goal in the 5th minute.

Saudi Arabia and Belgium both advance to the Round of 16.
