ORLANDO, Jun. 29, 1994 (AMP) — USA 94 : The Netherlands defeated Morocco by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Wednesday at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
The Netherlands dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Dennis Bergkamp in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Dutchs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Roy in the 77th minute.
