MUNICH, Jun. 18, 2006 (AMP) — Germany 2006 : Brazil defeated Australia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Sunday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

45 minutes of play and neither the Brazilians nor the Australians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Adriano ('49) and Fred ('90).
