BLOEMFONTEIN, Jun. 22, 2010 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 : South Africa defeated France by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup group stage game on Tuesday afternoon at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
South Africa dominated the first half thanks to goals from Khumalo ('20) and Mphela ('37). Leading 2-0 at the break, the South Africans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
