2. Bundesliga (Week 18) : Nürnberg defeats Bochum 2-1
GERMANY, Jan. 27, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 18: After their 1-1 draw against SpVgg Greuther Fürth on December 16, Union Berlin bounced back with a 2-1 victory over VfL Bochum this Friday.
VfL Bochum had started off well by taking the lead in the 40th minute with a goal by defender Tim Hoogland. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Union Berlin players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Polter Sebastian '67 and Skrzybski '80).
1. FC Union Berlin climbed to fourth place with 31 points from 18 games, only one point behind VfB Stuttgart, which has a game in hand.
