GERMANY, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 18: Eintracht Braunschweig was held to a 1-1 draw by Würzburger Kickers on Saturday.
Würzburger Kickers players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Moroccan midfielder Valdet Rama in the 33rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Eintracht Braunschweig with a saving goal from Nyman Christoffer in the 90th minute.
Eintracht Braunschweig remains in first place with 35 points from 18 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Hannover 96, which has a game in hand.
