GERMANY, Dec. 21, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 17: After losing 0-1 to Bayer Leverkusen on December 17, Hoffenheim bounced back with a 5-0 victory over Hertha Berlin this Sunday.
Sejad Salihović scored dual goals
Hoffenheim dominated the first half thanks to goals from Brooks ('23 own) and Salihović ('26 on penalty, '39 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, Hoffenheim players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Schipplock '74 and Rudy '84).
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim remains in 7th place with 26 points from 17 games, one point behind FC Augsburg.
