GERMANY, Sep. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: The match between Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen ended in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Wolfsburg players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Belgian forward Divock Origi in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Werder Bremen with a saving goal from Werder Bremen midfielder Fin Bartels in the 56th minute.
VfL Wolfsburg climbed to 12nd place with 5 points from 5 games, tie on points with Hertha Berlin, which has a game in hand.
