GERMANY, Sep. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: After their 1-1 draw against Hertha Berlin on September 17, Hoffenheim returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Mainz this Wednesday.
Two goals for both sides during the first half, Latza (6e) and Muto Yoshinori (16e) for Mainz, Amiri (23e) and Wagner (45e) for Hoffenheim. After the break, Hoffenheim settled the issue with another goal courtesy of player Uth Mark in stoppage time.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim climbed to third place with 11 points from 5 games, only one point behind Bayern Munich.
